How do I get finalRender to properly fade away shadows as I decrease an object's Visibility in Max? So far all I can get it to do is make them blink away when the visibility reaches zero.

finalRender supports the Visibility track in 3ds max. Objects along with their shadows do fade out relative to their visibility amount.
Make sure you use raytraced shadows and you have turned on "Use Trans." to make sure that the amount of transparency is also used for the shadow transparency.
Shadow Maps do not work with transparencies. Keep this in mind.
