Speed, Stability and Workflow Enhancements

Cebas Visual Technology Inc. is pleased to announce its release of Service Pack 2 for thinkingParticles Subscription Drop 9. The latest release to bring you bug fixing and workflow enhancements.
Overall simulation robustness, outstanding fluid solver stability and enhanced soft body dynamics offer a uniquely rounded overall Visual Effects experience for every 3ds Max user.

Besides increasing stability and robustness, new features have been added to the tool chest as well.
New in in thinkingParticles Subscription Drop9 SP2:

tPDataChannels - NEW material, allowing to access any Data Channel from thinkingParticles and use its value to control any material/map behavior. The example video shown above, uses this new material map to control the color of the falling balls, each collision changes the ball to the color of the rod it collides with.

UDeflector - Node input is now able to accept multiple nodes to do collision testing
per particle on different nodes.


Bugfixes

GeomInstance - VertexColor input did not work properly, this has been resolved now.
